I reduced the amount of crystallised ginger as I think it was a bit high last time. I made this cider for my friend John A. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Batch Size: 7.3 Litres \/ 12.8 Pints<br>Target ABV 7%<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yeast: Mangrove Jacks New Cider Yeast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple Juice: 6 Litres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lemon Juice (+ skins): 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crystallised Ginger: 300g<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black Tea: 4 bags, 1 Litre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honey: 100g<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fermentation Pressure: 10 psi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fermenter Starting Temperature 23<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start Date: 14\/07\/2026 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cold-crashed: 23\/07\/2026 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kegged: 28\/07\/2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tapped: 03\/09\/2026 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimated ABV %: 7.8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This came out quite good. I&#8217;m happy with the level of ginger.
